Q3 2017 IFTA Fuel Tax Preparation

Starting October 1, 2017, IFTA Plus can prepare your third quarter 2017 IFTA fuel tax return.

If you already have an account with IFTA Plus, sign in and start entering your miles and fuel or if you’ve already entered everything you can file today!  If not, our registration process takes only a minute and we walk you through each step of how to prepare and file your IFTA taxes.  You don’t have to pay for anything until you are ready to print out your state IFTA fuel tax return. To complete your return, you will need to collect your miles driven and fuel purchased in each State between July 1 and Sept 30.

Big Changes: Just an FYI- As with every quarter, some states increase/decrease their rates a small amount. That said, I wanted to call out two significant changes for this Quarter- Indiana increased their rate 200%, BUT they did get rid of their surcharge. Another big change was NJ with an increase of 32%. It’s all taken care of in IFTA Plus, but a heads up since these were pretty big.
